OREGON LACROSSE
Oregon lacrosse, led by second year head coach, Katrina Dowd, is growing the sport of lacrosse on the west coast. The program is built on the foundation of very engaged alumni support. 2017 was a huge year for the team, as the Ducks enjoyed their fourth consecutive winning season. Carrying their momentum into 2018, Oregon lacrosse made history, playing in the first-ever Pac-12 season. Most notable, was the crushing win over then-number 16 USC at Papé Field.

YOUR SUPPORT
Oregon lacrosse has greatly benefited from Women In Flight support over the past several years including most recently, utilizing $10,000 allocated for team bonding resources. The team went on a retreat to Black Butte Ranch in Central Oregon.
In the past year, Oregon lacrosse also went on a foreign tour to play in Australia and New Zealand. The trip provided the team extra practice and competition per the NCAA, as well as the experience of traveling abroad, bonding as a team and learning about different cultures.
In addition, Women In Flight funds sponsor an annual women’s symposium focused on empowering Oregon female student-athletes, in their future careers and life after collegiate athletics. This year, the program featured the very motivating ESPN reporter, Holly Rowe.
By making a gift to Women In Flight, TODAY, you can support programming specifically for female student-athletes including foreign tours, scholarships, equipment, books for the classroom, career and leadership development opportunities and more.
