OREGON TENNIS

The program, led by head coach, Alison Silverio, is building on the rich history of Oregon women's tennis and the strong foundation of so many alums. Oregon tennis made its mark on 2017 by making it one of their best seasons in recent memory. The Ducks recorded their first ever wins over perennial powers UCLA and USC and then earned an invitation to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 10 years. In 2018, Oregon continued their rise by landing their first-ever national ranking (Number 17) as they enter the Pac-12 Tournament.

YOUR SUPPORT

Oregon tennis has greatly benefited from Women In Flight support over the past several years including most recently, utilizing $10,000 allocated for team bonding resources where the team went on a retreat to Brasada Ranch in Central Oregon where they went rafting. The tennis team also did The Program, a workout led by ex-military personnel, intended to build character, leadership and communication.

In addition, Women In Flight funds sponsor an annual women’s symposium focused on empowering Oregon female student-athletes, in their future careers and life after collegiate athletics. This year, the program featured the very motivating ESPN reporter, Holly Rowe.

By making a gift to Women In Flight, TODAY, you can support programming specifically for female student-athletes including foreign tours, scholarships, equipment, books for the classroom, career and leadership development opportunities and more.

Join over 700 donors who philanthropically support the success of Oregon female student-athletes through Women In Flight. We are building a community around the Women of Oregon and we need your help!

Special thanks to sport social media accounts, Eric Evans Photography & Oregon Digital for the great photos!
