Black Cultural Center

Black Cultural Center

The plans are drawn and the ground is broken. The University of Oregon's Black Cultural Center is taking shape on campus at 15th and Villard. This space will provide accommodations for group and individual study, student meetings, academic support, and even small classes. The building will also feature artwork that celebrates black heritage. UO's VP for Student Life Kevin Marbury says, "This is a place to share and celebrate black culture. We are so proud that the voices of our students are creating a lasting legacy that will have a major impact on this university for decades.”

You can be a part of this effort, and have name recognition in the finished Black Cultural Center, by making a gift of $1,000 or more today!
