Our conference "Engaged Humanities: Partnerships between Academia and Tribal Communities" was a huge success!

November 13, 2019

On Friday Nov. 8 and Saturday Nov. 9 the Oregon Humanities Center, in collaboration with Native Strategies and Native American Studies, hosted an amazing conference that brought together scholars from the UO and other institutions and Native community leaders. Indigenous scholars, filmmakers, performers, community members, staff, and students came together and shared important work going on at our institutions and across our communities to engage tribal communities based upon core principles of respect, reciprocity, consultation, stewardship, and service.

This work can happen thanks to our donors.
