Hello, supporters of hip hop ensemble!

You can listen to the group on KWVA 88.1 FM, UO campus radio TODAY 3/6 at 4pm. If you're not in the Eugene area, you can stream it via the internet. We'll be playing hip hop classics like Rapper's Delight, That's the Joint, T.R.O.Y., Dynamite, Cut Chemist Suite, and Bowtie, many of them with new lyrics added. We've also worked up a pair of original songs, written by the group. Tune in and see what we've been up to!

Hip Hop Ensemble is getting ready for its first-ever performance, and working on classic repertoire with a new twist. You can't see the performance, but you will be able to hear it: it's on campus radio station KWVA 88.1, which streams via the internet. We'll be on the air 3/6 around 2pm!

UO Hip Hop Ensemble in action! 

A flurry of first-week gifts has gotten us up over the 1/3 mark - thank you donors!  This week the hip hop ensemble worked on songs by Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth and Outkast, and began composing a new song together.  These kids are creative and cooperative and a blast to work with!
