The LA Experience

Dreams include winning a Super Bowl, representing Team USA and competing internationally, but when those days come to an end and uniforms are hung up, it is essential that student-athletes are prepared for life after sport. NCAA research indicates less that 2% of collegiate athletes nationwide "go pro" in their sport, leaving the vast majority to "go pro" through a variety of career paths. Oregon Athletics has invested in student-athlete development to create champions in competition and in life beyond.

The LA Experience

The LA Experience is a first-of-its-kind event, where up to 20 student-athletes will be flown to LA to meet with esteemed alumni and learn about their careers in sport, media, film, television, finance, entrepreneurship and more. 

Many college students intern while in school, but student-athletes don't often have the flexibility or time outside their sport and academic commitments to participate. The LA Experience is the answer. We are confident it will be an invaluable experience for Oregon student-athletes.
