Oregon student-athletes who compete in spring sports experienced a tremendous loss this year when their seasons were cut short due to the COVID-19 crisis. While our top priority is the overall safety of our student-athletes and our community, we are committed to providing the best student-athlete experience.
COVID-19 was incredibly impactful for the seniors, who prepared extensively for their final season wearing a Duck uniform. In light of this crisis, the NCAA passed legislation allowing spring sports seniors to regain their eligibility for the 2021 year.
The University and Athletic Department will honor this opportunity for student-athletes to regain their eligibility, but it will require additional expenses. Please consider making a gift in support of scholarships for spring sport student-athletes returning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
