The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) publishes a bi-annual study on financial capability. In this study researchers consistently highlight the importance of financial literacy education. With their findings being confirmed by the Council on Economic Education (CEE), the Global Financial Literacy Education Commission (GFLEC), and numerous others, we know that financial education will be lifechanging for many. College students who learn basic personal finance skills while in college, position themselves 5-7 years ahead of their peers who lack access to financial education.
The gift of financial literacy pays valuable dividends for our community of Ducks. The UO Financial Wellness Center is funded completely by donations from people like you. Thank you for considering an investment in our students' financial wellness education- every donation counts and is an investment in the success of our flock, both now and in their futures.
