Thank you for your support of of the Brian Lanker Collection! We cordially invite you to an opening reception and panel discussion celebrating the opening of Evolution of a Moment: The Photographs of Brian Lanker, an exhibition honoring the extraordinary work of Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Brian Lanker. Through contact sheets, prints, and negatives, the exhibit offers a unique archival lens into Lanker's creative process and visual storytelling.
Enjoy an evening of reflection, conversation, and celebration. Beverages and light refreshments will be served.

The evening will showcase a panel discussion moderated by exhibit co-curators Danielle Mericle and Lauren Goss, and will include:
- Stephanie Jones, University of Oregon Assistant Professor of English in Digital Rhetoric
- Andy Nelson, University of Oregon Visual Communications Specialist, Advancement Communications
- David Ewald, University of Oregon Professor of Practice, School of Journalism and Communication
This compelling exhibit highlights four key areas of Lanker's career:
- His photojournalism for The Register-Guard
- Sports photography featuring the University of Oregon
- Iconic portraits of pop culture figures from the 1980s and 1990s
- His acclaimed series, I Dream a World, wherein he photographer 75 of the most influential Black women in American history
