The International Design Conference (IDC) & Education Symposium hosted annually by the Industrial Designers Society of America is and is the key event of collaboration across all global chapters - a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collective action towards shaping a better future through design, amplifying the unique and bold voices of the industry

As one of the largest IDSA university chapters, we take this opportunity to broaden our outreach of connecting students to industry professionals. Attending this conference allows us to bring valuable industry connections and resources back to the UO, strengthening and keeping our Product Design department at the forefront of the design world. Through panels, networking events, workshops, and portfolio reviews, we explore the recent developments in industrial design and share this information with our UO community during the school year through guest speakers and meetings covering topics addressed at IDC.

With attendees such as Nike, Oakley, Converse, Carhartt, General Motors, Toyota, and more, we have the exclusive chance to have face-to-face conversations with the industry’s leading innovators, as well as connect with students and professors at other top design institutions.

To start pursuing our goal, we need your help raising $3000 to send our most passionate members to IDC, putting UO on a global design platform! After that, we hope to empower even more students by reaching our even higher goal of $5500.
