We wanted to say a huge 'thank you' to everybody who donated to this project! It is because of all of you that we are able to have so many opportunities to share our message of female empowerment through music in so many ways this year!!  Every donation counted toward incredible plans for our group, and we are SO EXCITED to announce that because of all of your help, we have officially began the recording process of our newest EP that we hope to release this year! It will feature all three of the songs from our set for the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella, as well as a few other favorite songs we have picked out special to represent our sound.  We are also pleased to announce that just this last weekend, we made history when we PLACED 1ST in the first ever NORTHWEST ICCA SEMIFINAL! One of our members was also given a special award for Outstanding Soloist. We are officially headed to NEW YORK CITY at the end of April and will perform our winning set on a broadway stage, competing against approximately nine other top a cappella groups in the nation. We hope the money left over from recording can help us with expenses for this trip as well.  We cannot thank you all enough for being so supportive of our group and the goals we have for this year and the future!! This week marks the end of our Duckfunder campaign! The last day to donate will be this Thursday, March 3rd. At this time, we have reached only 45% of our overall fundraising goal. With your help we have faith that we will be able to make it close to the 100% mark by the end of Thursday! Please share our campaign link with anyone you know. This will help us have the capability to record new songs for you to listen to for our next EP album, it will allow us to create music videos. Your support will also help pay for travel expenses and competition fees and MUCH much more! BONUS: Since we are in the last few days of our campaign and we are so far from our goal, we are offering a special reward for those who donate $150 or more to our campaign. For that donation amount, we will send you a short video of us singing a song of your choosing from our existing repertoire and we will also include a personalized message from us to you. As of this moment, we have raised $5,755 (34%) of our $15,000 overall goal. And we have only 8 days left to get there!! With the money that we have already raised, we will  a) begin recording a new EP album (only 2 songs for now if we don't raise more money) b) use the funds for a cappella festival tickets and c) put some away for traveling expenses.

However, we are still $9,245 away from our target amount. With your help, we can do SO MUCH more than the three items listed above! We have huge dreams and big goals for this year and we can't do it all without you. We want to travel to the east coast, create a Divisi scholarship, and get new music arrangements but we will need to reach our fundraising goal in order to do that.

In the Summer of 2015, we filmed our FIRST EVER music video to our single "11:59". After we published the video on our YouTube page, it spread on social media like wildfire. It even ended up being viewed by the original creator of the song, Michael Franti. Soon after, Franti's team contacted us and asked us to make a guest appearance on his tour at his concert in Portland. We were able to make our way there to sing "11:59" with him on stage, and we made memories that night that none of us will ever forget. With your help, we can create more music videos and hopefully gain more amazing opportunities like this one!

This past Saturday, January 30th 2016, we traveled to Tualatin, OR to compete in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella NW Quarterfinals. We prepared for this night for months and spent so many hours rehearsing for it. We are so proud to announce that our hard work payed off - WE TOOK FIRST PLACE!! In addition to that, we won the awards for Outstanding Choreography (Kelsey Pargeter) and Outstanding Soloist (Samantha Westmoreland). We will now be advancing to semi-finals, which will be held on March 19th at George Fox University in Newberg, OR. We will be competing against the top groups from Northern California, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. With your donation, you can help us get there!
